o all.
I received my offer and all of my relocation paper work, BI and Medical paperwork as well. I was a bit surprised I got it all at once as reading the posts that does not seem to be all that common. My question is this, My wife travels extensivly out of the US for her work and is not going to leave her job until I have met all contingencies also my Daughter is going to Paris for a school trip in 30 or so days.
I see that I need to submit their Passports, normally this would not be a problem, but as you can see they both will be using them....... Does anyone know how long they can expect to have them for the Visa? My wife can juggle her trips and be without a passport for a very short window and also I do not want to have my child risk missing her trip to Paris if it should take longer than 30 Days.
Thanks,
Sam

Doing a search on timelines, you should be able to determine if you should wait to turn in their passports. The timelines listed will give you a good idea on how quickly visas are granted.

One of the contingencies is being able to obtain a visa, so you don't know until the very end, after the passports are in Houston. You don't mention your start date. I recommend you discuss your time line thoroughly with your relocation advisor, especially if they have you on an aggressive schedule to be in KSA. It may be better for your family if you head out before them, and they follow a matter of weeks after, once their schedules have settled and they have the time for their passports to be sent out for visas. Just my opinion.
