I am interested in finding out any opinions on the new Aetna Medical Plan versus the old United Healthcare Plan. I recently got an offer and was suprised to find that the medical plan had changed.

The biggest change that I see is the fact that Aetna is Global, meaning there are in network service providers listed in many areas of the world. In fact when we travel now, I go online and make a list to travel with me of in network Drs and hospitals that are in the area where we will be staying.
UnitedHealthcare only had Drs and in network providers in the U.S.
Remember, Aramco's insurance actually comes from Aramco, the provider with the contract to administer that insurance is what changed for the most part. Since we are healthy, we haven't had to use either insurance very much, so no actual experience using the insurance except in minor cases. Friends who have had major issues, have told me it has taken care of everything.
