I am wondering if anyone can recommend a shipping company in the UAE to ship a vehicle door-to-door from Abu Dhabi to Ras Tanura? Any other useful information regarding this process would be appreciated. Thank you.

The reason I don't drive it is I have a young family, a one year old and a four year old. I checked and it would be a 12 hour drive. No thank you!
The vehicle in question is a 2009 Honda Odyssey. I have read that KSA will not allow vehicles older than five years old to be imported. I am wondering if my vehicle could even be imported? It seems simple enough, 2013-2009=4. But, there is a tag on the driver's door frame that indicates it was built November of 2008, so it would be 5 years old in November. Even so, could it be imported if it was five years old and not yet six? Ugh! So confusing! To make matters worse I have gotten mixed answers from the transport companies I have contacted.
I would like a firm yes or no from a reliable source!

Hadia, Thank you for the link, although I checked there before posting. The site doesn't go into enough detail to answer the questions I have. I did, however, speak to an agent last night at one of the shipping agents provided in a previous post and got the answers I needed. Thank you all for your help  |
