Dear All, .........I have a question about Cash in Lieu
what I want in this "Cash on-Lieu" option "Buy the things in "Saudi Arab" and hand over Receipts to Aramco office for reimbursement , Am I correct in this way ? . because I am confuse the word shipment in both option. . OR do I have to go first day in admin dept and ask how much cash Aramco can give me then buy the stuff?, I also know that amount will be in , either on first or second salary ?
in other words Cash in lieu means , I may buy necessary stuff in Saudi Arab and Aramco will pay me ?

Cash in lieu means you choose for Aramco not to pay for you a shipment of your personal effects. Aramco will give you cash in lieu of this shipment. You can take the money and buy whatever you want with it or nothing if that is what you want.
No, you do not buy things and give Aramco the receipts. Aramco gives you the amount you are eligible to receive and you do with it as you want.
You could still do a shipment if you take cash in lieu, but it will be at your expense.

I have already shipped my boxes to the compound at my own expense as I chose the cash-in-lieu option. I have also left the US and will arrive in kingdom 12/31/13.
Question: how do I collect on the cash-in-lieu? Is it a check? Does it get deposited to my US bank account?
