Hi Aramcons! I've just been offered a position to work in Dhahran, but once I signed the offer letter I received an email asking if I would be happy to work in remote locations. I have been told that such work regime can last up to three years, although weekends would be able to return home. Can someone that has been through this experience give me some details? What is it like to work in remote locations? Is it unbearable? Does Aramco provide any compensation? I fear that my wife will be left stranded at home while I'm away for such long periods and just want to hear from someone that has been through this. Many thanks
