I am a little worried about the space I will have in my apartment in DHA. I have received all the relocation literature and it says a shared place? I was told I would get my own apartment (I am far too set in my ways to share) also will the bedroom be big enough for my Kingsize bed? Any help appreciated  |

What grade code are you? What payroll (US, Canadian, Pound)? Are you sure you are reading the literature correctly? No one shares except in the lower grade codes which are mainly support staff. The building may be shared such as hallway (like in a hotel), laundry room, etc. but not apartments. I know some people are going into the studio apartments now but they are not sharing apartments but do not have a laundry in the apartment.

What about pets in bachelor housing? I know some units do not take pets.

Guiness10 - There are temporary assignments for shared accommodation when the studio apartments are not available at the time of arrival. It is my understanding if that is the case, you would be moved as soon as one is available.
But of course that is my opinion and not in any way official.

Pets are not allowed in housing where there is a shared hallway. No pets not even cats.

RT or ABQ? if you had to choose between the two... Advantages, nearby groups, gyms, activities, safety, noise, commute.

There are only 2 real differences in the two compounds. RT single accommodation is smaller than the ones in ABQ, but RT has its beach inside the compound. So accommodation size or beach availability.
You can read in the discussion groups: Living in Aramco Communities - RT and the one on ABQ and see an incomplete list of self directed groups that are active on each of those compounds.
Single population about the same in both compounds.
