Hi there guys, I'm new to the forum and have just been given an offer by Aramco to join there Marine department. I have a few concerns that I hope can be answered by a few of the experienced expats ?
1. The offer I received is quite abit less then my current salary so can I challenge this and will it effect my chances of employment ?
2. I have a criminal record due to selling what I didnt realise was stolen goods though I have been working in Kuwait and the UAE recently with no problems of obtaining a visa plus it was my first offence. Will this cause any problems during the process ?
I am very much wanting to be apart of the Aramco team as I want stability as I have been freelance for a while now and seems like an opportunity like this is to good to pass up. Any advice would be appreciated.

1) Salary is sometimes negotiable. Write a letter, resend copies of your current pay stubs, asking them to match your salary.
2) This will be looked at on an individual basis during your BI clearance. No one can tell you if it will be a deal breaker.
