All-
I am in the process of accepting a direct offer from Aramco. From sources on this website and others Bahrain is about 20-25 kms and a good place to hangout over the weekend. My question is I am a US permanent resident with an Indian passport, will I need a visa to go visit Bahrain everytime?

You will need to check the Bahrain Embassy website for requirements for your passport. Residents of a GCC country are not supposed to need a visa, but you will need to check to be sure.

I am in a similar situation. I carry a US Passport and have no issues back and forth to Bahrain, but my wife who will be joniing me next year carries a Brazilian Passport. Brazilian Passport holders require a visa to be issued prior to arrival in Bahrain. This is very clear on the Bahraini Website.
The info on the website gets a little grey when trying to apply the GCC resident permit.
Is there someone out there with experience on travel to Bahrain with an Iqama, but with a passport that would typically require a visa to be issued prior to arrival in Bahrain?
