Does anyone have more information about the new Aramco Jadawel compound. Who will be enled to live there (only US payroll or all)? I understand some people in DHA have been approached to move there.

There is some information in this month's Dhahran Community Service newsletter, including a front page article about the compound and some other pieces inside. I only scanned through the newsletter quickly and did not notice anything about it being restricted to any particular nationality.
If you are in kingdom, you can find the newsletter on the company intranet.

The new Dhahran compound is called Rakkah.

Well, as mentioned, there are a number of articles about the new compound in this month's Dhahran Community Services newsletter, including a front page spread. They refer to it as the Jadawel compound.
It is in the Rakkah (or Rakah, I've seen it spelt both ways) district of Al-Khobar.

o (future) Aramco colleagues I hope. Be aware that not all forum members have access to the Dhahran Community Services newsletter. Would it be possible to share some insights or pictures?

I did a quick Google search and found Jadawel City and Jadawel Village, both compounds are located in or near Dhahran. Is one of the them the same one used by Aramco?

Neither of those are the new compound. Aramco spells the compound name Rakkah. It is not in Rakkah. It is a compound called/named Rakkah.

This question of the name is a little confusing. The article I mentioned earlier does not use the name you mention.
So I sent an email to Community Services (who control housing for the company) asking for the official name of the compound. Here is their reply:

I just found a new Transportation Bus Map for the workhaul buses to/from the new local compound that calls it "Local Compound (Rakah)" at the top of the sheet but shows the bus destination on the map as "Jadaweel Compound."
Anyway, for those that are interested in the commute, the workhaul buses leave the compound at 6 am and return from Al Midra via the Tower Bldg at 15:50.

Any chance of pictures or even the article from the Dhahran Community Services newsletter being posted here for those who don't have access to it?
Thanks
James

There is no way to post pictures from the company Intranet on here, that I am aware of.
The article was actually more about a dinner hosted for SDG officers at the compound, than anything particularly informative about the compound itself.
About the only parts of general interest, were these:

I met with Housing, the expat personnel supervisor, and other department heads in a meeting and toured the new compound. It is called Rakkah.

It appears that most of the folks arriving at DHA after July may be going to Rakkah compound as DHA appears to be full. Not confirmed but it seems to be the case.
