Just curious to know if pay stubs will still be requested since they asked me for proof of income or tax records prior to the interview. I gave them 2012 W2. Thanks

Pay stubs might be needed if you want to negotiate salary after you receive the offer.

Hi vp and all What is the timeline for negotiations. I got the offer 3 weeks ago and requested to equalize the gross salary with mine since 2 weeks ago. The recruiter hold the deadline and he told me that he still waiting for department feedback. I have several plans going on and my kids school will start by next september. I don't know if this negotiations will work out or just a waste of the time. Can anybody share experiences in this issue please. The main reason for this negotiations is cuz they based me in Abq while work place is DHA. It is like a deal ..
Thsnks very much.

GYM30, There is no timeline. It all depends on the availability of everybody involved in the approval process. Vacation, biz travels, etc. could delay the process. In my case, it took about 1 month for them to come back with a revised offer. I can't stress this enough: patience is key if you are to go through with this process.

Thanks very much revive I am not in hurry indeed. I am just worry if I wait one month and then they back with similar offer or very slight change. How can I suspect if it seems to be a sign of revision ? And in you case and if you don't mind, did they back with some thing make sense with time waiting ?
Thanks very much

I did not receive any indication of either success or failure. So it was basically a complete silence until I received the revised offer. I learned after the fact that some folks had been traveling for business. So, similar with other steps in the process, you just wait with nothing else to do besides waiting. Really. We all learned through school & work that there is always something you can do to move things along. Not here. Really. (Sorry if I sound a little exasperated -- I've been waiting a long 6 weeks for my visas ) With any negotiation, anything could happen so you should be ready for the worst. Having said that, if you're requesting them to increase base salary to match your current base salary, you will likely get it (based on many similar cases in the forum, including mine). EDIT: and of course... a few hours after I wrote the above message, my relo advisor called me to inform that our visas have been approved. What a relief. Thank ! Now we can get back to actually doing the move preparations.

GYM30,
Coming to work for Aramco many times, if not most times takes considerable time. You must continue on with your life where you are as though you are not making this move. Even after you were to receive a revised offer and you accept, then it will still be a waiting time. Kids may start school, etc. unless all contingencies have been cleared and your visa has been applied for. But even that can take time as previously stated.
Do a search on "timeline" on the forum, you can see new hires length of hurry up and wait at each stage of the hiring process.
