Hey all, Since the only thing we can do now is sit and wait, doesn't hurt to get mentally ready and gather information in case the good people of Dhahran call with a nice offer.
I did a quick search and don't seem to find anything on this? I race for pleasure, and was wondering if there was a race track around DHA/Khobar... and I am referring to the real track, not the highway that locals use for tyre burning.
I know there is one in Jeddah and one in Ryadh, but couldn't get much out of google really.
thx

Thx, Looks like a lot of things revolve around Bahrain. Will have to call to see if they allow use of own vehicles, but I would think that is possible anyway.

If you check out the link posted by Dutch Expat and look at the "Open Track" section, it appears that those sessions allow you to use your own car.

We have a friend who races in Bahrain all the time. Not a problem. Others take their motorcycles over to a track as well.

Thx all I am thinking a little bit too far down the line. Got to get the offer first. I will ship my bike over but I will have to get a trailer for it. I love the thrill of bike but I dont want to end up under some saudi 4by4 on the causway.

Motorcycles, people usually only ride inside camp or trailer it to Bahrain. On the local roads, you would be putting your life in other drivers' hands. Not safe. You do not see motorcycles or scooters very often on the local highways or in the local towns.
