So far, Aramco has not sent out any information that they will be changing the weekend days at this time. Patience!

Change applies to 'all government bodies'. I am sure a Saudi Aramco announcement is imminent, as it is a government run company and will most probably comply with the Royal Decree. It is a welcomed change when it indeed takes affect.

The work week at Aramco is changing effective this weekend. We have one three day weekend (June 27-29) then begin the new Sunday to Thursday schedule effective June 30, 2013. This was announced officially at 10pm last night.

Aramco has given an extra day off for this coming Saay but obviously they will take that back from the September 21st day off as that date has now fallen on a regular days off.
