My Salary package includes a monthly Cash in Lieu of Short/L-T Disability, Retirement, Medical, Savings Plan benefits (as per the footnote details referenced against the dollar value of cash in lieu).
Could anyone on Canadian payroll, who accepted an offer in 2013 and completed the hiring process, shed some light on whether Canadians still fill-up any Saving Plan enrollment Form (like x% matched by Saudi Aramco to employee's deduction)?
Secondly, do we need to complete a Group Insurance Form (like basic life and AD & D insurance with optional extended benefits)?
If answer to the above questions is yes, please post the required Form numbers and les.
Thanks

I do not know if they will give you form numbers. But there are Canadians on the forum. Just know, many people are getting ready to head out of Kingdom and are always very busy in the weeks leading up to leaving. School is also about 2 weeks to being out and end of school activities are keeping families with kids busy.
Sorry, I am not from Canada and cannot help out. Hopefully, someone will respond soon. The posters on the forum are all volunteers and sometimes the job and life just gets in the way of checking the forum.

The Canadian package was changed effective January 1 and the career path is no longer offered. This means no savings plan or retirement annuity/cash. This is offset by an additional monthly supplement to your base salary and an end of employment benefits supplement. While in kingdom you are fully covered but you need travel insurance when outside of KSA (e.g. Bahrain, US, Canada, etc.) since you are no longer covered by your home health care plan. There are still some supplemental benefits and your HR contact will be able to provide this for you. Any forms you require will either be done at orientation prior to departure or upon arrival in the Kingdom.

Derekg Thank you for explanation. Canadians don't even get basic life insurance and AD & D covee (x times monthly salary)? What if a person gets injured or passes away in the line of duty? I am just seeking an opinion; obviously someone else supposed to answer such questions.

I accepted an offer in October. As a Canadian we get base salay, expat premium and cash in lieu of all benefits. That's it. As a non resident Canadian we're exposed.
