This is an odd one I know. But, I am accepting a job with Aramco and my wife is a flight attendent for Delta Air. She would like to continue to fly a very limited amount from NYC where she is currently based.
Are there any other Flight Attendents that live in Saudi who commute? She has commuted from London before and commuting great distances is not unusual. However, not sure if it is doable from Saudi.
Thanks for your input.

o, I don't see why it would be much different with Saudi. Once you have your Iqama, your wife will be able to leave/re-enter KSA although I've heard your permission is required. Your wife also has to reside in KSA at least 6 months in a year in order to maintain your family status.

A wife does not need her husband's permission to leave the kingdom in any formal sense, but as a matter of simple logistics, the husband would have to submit an exit/re-entry visa request for her at least once a year as only an employee can submit the request.
Once a person has an exit/re-entry visa (normally, most everyone goes for the one-year, multiple visa) they can leave whenever they want. No special permission document or anything indicating the husband's concurrence is required when leaving the kingdom.

As mentioned, the official stance on maintaining family status is that the wife will be in the country 6 months out of a year, but this can be broken up into whatever segments she wants.
