GRADES

An employee must establish and maintain his family status in Saudi Arabia. Therefore, EAP benefits are authorized only after the employee's spouse arrives in the Kingdom to reside at least 180 days per calendar year.

Students must be regular members of the employee's household immediately before employment. However, children of a former marriage or adopted children who are now, and who have been in the immediate past, regular members of the employee's household, may be eligible to receive EAP assistance. The employee must establish the child's eligibility by submitting acceptable legal documents, which extend permanent legal custody to the employee or spouse for Law Department‟s review.

Children of a former marriage or adopted children who are approved for residency in the Kingdom, but who were not in the employee's care prior to the time of employment, or from the time of his present marriage, may be eligible for EAP assistance only through out-of-policy consideration.
