Rakkah is a family compound. There is no comparison to single accommodation in ABQ.

vpainter, can a resident be allowed to make some modifications on the house provided, lets say painting some walls with a color of your choice.Could it be possible to do so? Is the permission from housing department required first? thank you

Housing wants you to get approval so you do not have to change it when you move. This is on the company owned properties. Some of the leased properties you must get approval to make changes.
Many people paint the inside of the houses owned by Aramco without approval and then just paint them back to the original color when they leave years later.
