Greetings to all! I have recently been offered a position with The Process Controls group at grade 14. I've been trying to gauge how that would compare to my current position, however, the HR folks here in the U.S. have been unable to provide any meaningful feedback. They apparently do not have any generic descriptions for the different grade codes so I am finding it a bit difficult to figure out whether I am gaining or losing seniority etc.
Also how is the work environment? I was advised by HR that I would be working in a new building at the Dhahran complex with an open floor concept which sounds like a shared work area. Are independent office spots reserved for management only? Are any senior expat engineers assigned offices? Are offices only reserved for management?
Would appreciate any feedback anyone may be able to offer.
