Hi,
As Canadians living in Singapore, we have become very attached to our Filipina maid/helper/nanny and am wondering if it's feasible to bring her with us to Saudi. She wants to come with us. Thanks!

She probably could not come when you do because you have to be here and have a resident visa and iqama to sponsor her. But you could possibly complete all the paperwork to sponsor her after you are here since she is from a country with an agreement in place for domestic help. I don't know if she would have to return to the Philippines in order to be processed. This could take a bit of time to accomplish - 2 to 4 months would be my guess. It took my neighbor just over 2 months, if I remember correctly.

yes, it's possible, but she will need to go back to Philippines and wait until you can sponsor her.
