I would like to know if there are pet stores that sell fish - we are looking for Betta 's
Has anyone tried to bring a fish into KSA?

From what we've seen there are many stores selling tropical fish. Not sure specifically about betta's though.

I just read in the Gazette that there is an animal market called Souk ul Hammam(Pigeon's Market) in Dammam every Fri. You can buy live animals to eat, lol, & animals as pets. It's near the Seiko bldg. They sell cats, dogs, rabbits, as well as hens, roosters, etc. I haven't been yet as I'm new here. I take it you're from Calgary, lol.
