I read in many of the post that a background check is done for all the applicants. I totally understand that, and have no problem with that. My current employer have done the same. however, I'm not sure how the background check is done by Aramco since I have tick they can contact my current employer ? what does it mean exactly ? are they going to contact the HR Department or my manager, or a list of person I'll give them ?
when my current employer asked for background check, they actually request me to give them name of colleague I worked with.
what will happen if they contact HR directly without my knowledge and HR sacking me afterward ? I havent thought about that initially, which let me think that I should have tick "DO NOT CONTACT MY Current employer" is a safer option.
