I am new and sponsoring my first visitor, my son. We have chosen to use a Carrier ( means arriving via Dammam ) as a method of arrival and I think it is indicated in the visa. My question is, if he arrives via Dammam by air can he leave the country on land by travelling to Bahrain. If anyone has a similar experience appreciate some feedback.

I asked this question at orientation here and was told that the person would have to have a multiple entry visa to leave and come back. Aramco will arrange visas for immediate family members but will only apply for multiple entry visas for US passport holders as its done from the Houston consulate. All other nationalities will get a single entry visa as the processing is done at the respective embassies.

Thank you for the response gbhatia,
Actually in my case it is a single entry visitor visa and I am happy with it. My question was by coming to KSA via Dammam as specified in the VISA do we must exit via Dammam. Or can we exit via land to Bahrain . I am sure there must be some aramcon who have faced this and hope someone can response.

You can ask the Aramco office that helps with visas whether or not your son can leave by land over the causeway to Bahrain, if the visa states he must come in by air into Dammam. They would be the best to get your answer from.
Aramco's government affairs office may be able to help you as well.
