I got the offer today and I should be a happy camper. My background is Electrical Engineering, specialized in control and instrumentation. However, the offer is to assign me as a PE for building construction. Is it common over there to have a different job waiting for on Day One? How many people over there have similar situation and want to share their story?

I am leaning to decline the offer. Any suggestions? I only have 7 days to respond. Please...

How is your situation now? Did you eventually accept the offer? I have received similar offer. It only state Engineer III. I am lost as to what my requirement is as well. Do you wish to share your experience please?
