Good luck to all that are in the process and to those that are not.

Hi guys, I did post the other day but for some reason it has not been registered and not quite sure what I had put Anyway, my interview experience wasn't that great, I was interviewed by 4 people for a role within the IT dept last week but none of them seem to know that much about IT and were asking some questions which were not really relevant or with no real structure. During the interview the interviewer's were talking to each other in Arabic which I couldn't understand and it lasted about 20mins. I spoke to someone who had applied for the engineer role and he seemed to have had a brilliant interview and got on well with everyone, as it seems the people interviewing were more familiar with that area. In terms of questions, I was asked: Tell me about you? What do you offer us? Why should we employ you? Easy questions, but not so when there is a language barrier and they don't understand technical (to a very high-level) relating to IT. That was my experience, I'm sure not every interview is the same though. Good luck to all!

o AshFM,
I was interviewed for a Corporate Strategic position.
The questions are ranging from general: how does your wife feel about moving to very specific questions around experience.

I was interviewed in London back in March. To be honest everyone, including the AOC employees and the interviewee (from Dhahran) were very friendly and helpful. They indicated at the end that I did well in the interview and that I should expect to hear back very soon. I was asked to submit the payslips the next day and had the offer in the post by end of March.
