Hii All , I have 9 years of experience and working as Sr. Engineer. Recently I received an draft offer from Aramco for position of Grade 12 -Engineer III . The offer only states the base salary , housing deduction in camp and net salary after deduction. No other allowances in terms of currency are mentioned in benefits except 13th month pay , annual air tickets. On the contrary I have received an offer from UAE ( adnoc group) last yr , which have base salary almost the same along with no. of allowances which makes a total of around 24K AED. Also they have some one time furniture allowance/car loan Now can any guide me that will there be any additional allowances apart from base salary , if yes why they have not mentioned in offer. Also I believe Aramco shall pay equivalent to industry standard. Request for your prompt response.

Please do talk with your Aramco contact about your benefits other than those listed.

Saudis don't get annual air tickets.
My husband is Saudi. We got family housing in the compound because my husband asked to be on the bidding list. It's not automatic and definitely not guaranteed. Some Saudis also cannot live in certain compounds. For example, the Saudis who are from Al Ahsa/Hofuf cannot live in Udhailiyah. They must commute, and they get a 7% transportation allowance.

Some of the benefits for Saudi employees are on the SaudiAramco.com website under the "Join Us" section.

You don't have to be Saudi to get a 13th month payment - all Muslim employees get it. [Edit] - Make that all Muslim employees on the Saudi Riyal payroll, which includes various Asian and Other Arab nationalities but apparently, not US, UK or Euro employees.
Saudis get a 13th month payment annually and an additional 14th month payment in Ramadan.
Saudis are eligible to live on company compounds under various circumstances, such as family housing if they are not taking part in the home ownership scheme or bachelor housing if they are assigned work outside commuting distance from their designated family residence location.

azraeil OK, that would tally with my information that it doesn't apply to US/C, UK and Euro payrolls.
However to go back to the OP, just because he got an offer that includes a 13th month payment, it doesn't necessarily mean he is Saudi. As mentioned, various other nationalities are also eligible for this.

Well, a little correction, all employees on Saudi Riyal Payroll get 13th Month Pay irrespective of nationality, however only Saudis get 14th Month Pay as Ramdan bonus. end of year bonus range is different, I was offered less than 21% and accepted my job offer last year.
Along with this offer, you will get an attractive Cash-in-lieu of shipment depending upon your origin and total number of dependents you have and one basic salary as startup along with your first salary

MABM,
Interesting to know that various nationalities are on Saudi Riyal Payroll. Which nationalities are they? Why are they on Riyal Payroll instead of their home currency, whatever it may be?

Yes, Saudis get 14 months of basic salary plus 60% basic salary (for grade 11+) when they take their annual vacation. Saudis do not get any end of year bonus or any other bonuses. No airline tickets. No school allowance (and not allowed in Aramco schools past K).

Base salary is based on many factors for each individual. No one can tell you what yours will be. When you receive your offer, you decide if it is enough for you. Accept it, negotiate, or turn it down accordingly.
