Came to Survey house for shipment: 6/27/13
Got Visas: Got news today 7/10/13 that our visas were rejected.
They used the wrong le and will re-apply with a new le. Our new target date is Aug 15 since NO ONE can fly into Saudi (that is new) between Aug 2 and 14. They are going to re-apply for our visas. They also said that they have never seen a visa be rejected the second time. ASLO: were told that Dhahran was full and we will be living in the new compound Rakkah which is 30 minutes away from Dhahran.
August 12- still waiting for a new le. They said 2 weeks and we are about to hit 5 weeks!! We have been told that we have been flagged as priority although it doesn't feel that way. They keep saying "any day now". This is beyond frustrating.
Sept 4- got new le- waited 8 weeks for new le after being denied visas the first time
Sept 5- applied for visas the 2nd time with letter from manager
Sept 20- consulate requested a 2nd letter and a meeting on Sept 23 with a manager at Aramco to answer some additional questions. Hope this is good news.
New packing dates: Oct 1 and 2(our 5th packing date)- still pushing us to get out by Sept 30- will have to have my mom oversee the packing.
Sept 27- GOT OUR VISAS TODAY!!! and final offer letter!!
Oct 1 and 2- pack dates
Oct 3- flight to Saudi
Almost 7 months from interview we are finally done with the process!!
