Hi there ..
My name is Moataz Hattani and I am a new ITC student here in UDH .
I come from Abha which is far south the kingdom around 1500 km from here.
At first , I want to welcome every Aramcons expat in Saudi Arabia as its my native country and its one of my duties to welcome you here .
You may ask yourselves what I am doing here in such a thread thats only for expatriates.
I know that I am not an expat but in my opinion , an expatriate is not the one who is away from his country , an expatriate is the one whose away from his family , friends and the beloved ones . My family to me it's my country and now , I am away from them with not a chance to see them any time soon .
What I really came here for was to ask a simple favor from any expat here in UDH.
As you can see I speak English as a second language after my native which is Arabic and I really want to improve it and polish it more and more to be as near as a native speaker .
I have major problem which is that no one in my town back in Abha can speak English and I don't have any chance in finding any in a close by range . I tried my best to improve my self until I reached a certain limit that I can not surpass except by speaking to good or a native speaker .
My language when I talk is kind of rusty and I pause a lot to remember a certain word that fits the right sentence and I think that I can break that wall by speaking regularly to a good English language speaker .
So what I am asking for , can any expat here in UDH be my friend and care to help me improve my language ?
