I am just trying to understand how does that grade level work in Aramco. Is 1 the highest? I am currently being offered G-03 just wanted to see what kind of grade is that?

Hi oilsand - First of all congratulations it seems like u have finally got an offer. I have heard of eng I, ii, iii but never heard of G03. If u'll write a little bit of your background I think someone would be able to help you. You also mentioned in another post that you are being considered for BGP. Can you please share what is the housing location they offered?

Grade 3 is the lowest. What sort of job is your offer for? maybe it's a mistake and meant to be Grade 13?

The candidate should have in-depth knowledge on synchronous and induction motors, generators, switchgears, motor control centers, protection relays, cables sizing and grounding. The candidate should be able to conduct assessments, surveys and yses on electrical motors, circuit breakers, UPSs, battery chargers, and provide report of equipment condition results with recommendations.
BGPD is one of the major gas plants in Saudi Aramco’s Gas Operations that process sour gas and produces sales gas, ethane, C3+, sulfur and power.
Minimum Requirements EDUCATION: B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering. EXPERIENCE: 10 years of professional experience in power electrical engineering, preferably in the oil, gas or similar process industry. LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: A thorough knowledge of English is required to perform work as described and make clear and concise verbal and written reports and keep up with technical advancements. OTHER: Must have a thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, U.S. and Saudi Aramco Codes, Standards and Specifications.

I think that must just be a reference code for the job.
Engineers usually start at GC12 or 13
