o all,
I just had a video conference call for a position with Aramco and I was really excited about it. However, the quality of the call was not very good and the interviewers had to move around for me hear them better, etc. Do you think this would effect the result? Thanks

I would not worry about being there in person. There are problems with interviews in the technology department, it does not effect you as a candidate.

tiiukas- When I had my video interview, the screen never changed from an empty room. I had no idea that 6 people were sitting there, staring at me, until they said that it was time to begin! (I'm glad I decided to present a calm front to the empty room, in case they were taping it...) Anyway, I did receive an offer, so the technical aspects of the video interview are not critical; the fine folks at Saudi Aramco conduct interviews like this often, and are likely to be far more cognizant of the limitations than you or I. I have seen that some of the posts on the forum have indicated a similar tough time, and got an offer, and others have had a second interview (sometimes via phone, rather than video, the second time) before getting an offer. Don't sweat the details. As many have said, throughout the process (and while in Kingdom): Patience is the key.
Good luck, CP
