Does the sweet water in the camp need any additional filtering. Does it have a chlorine taste? Can anyone advise any preference in filters if they are using? Thanks

We use our sweet water for cooking, but prefer to have bottled water delivered to our home for general drinking purposes. We've found the sweet water to have an odor to it. The commissary delivers spring water to your home if you set it up with them. Water chillers/heaters are available at Saco World.
We have not investigated filtering the sweet water tap.

We currently have a water cooler that takes the 5 gallon bottles. Like Hadia said, the commissary will deliver them at your request. Unfortunately though the bottles are plastic, which concerns me considering the high temperatures.
I use the sweet water for cooking and rinsing the dishes. It does need additional filtering if you want to use it in your coffee maker or kettle or clothes iron, etc., so we use bottled water for all small appliances, except the humidifiers.
When I go back to the US next time, I am planning to buy a Berkey water filter system or a reverse osmosis system.

Personally I have no issues with the sweet water. My family drinks it, we cook with it, etc. We don't buy any bottled water.
