You will need to have a VPN if you want them online.
Showtime/Orbit will have satellite TV with many of the stations. You will find their booth in the commissary near the exit door.

If you want anything in HD quality that requires internet, forget about it (Aramco DSL doesn't work and Mobily throttles bandwidth). We got OSN satellite from the booth at the Commissary.

Try HMA! vpn. It slows the connecton down a little but it warks for netflix.

Hi all, Sorry to be a bit blond about this, but what is VPN and Netflicks? ...I know that we want them, but not sure what they are? Or how to get them? Or how much they cost? Is this option cost effective compared to satellite ( don't think our house has a dish?)

You can do a search on VPN on the forum and it is well explained and different ones discussed and recommended.
Netflix is a website for movie and TV show watching. You sign up and it costs about $10/month and you can watch unlimited shows/movies, it comes out of the U.S. and you need a VPN to watch it here.

Giving this topic a bump because I'm curious - what sort of devices are you all streaming Netflix on? Is there a device that works particularly well with VPNs to stream to your tv?

If you still keep a house back home, consider buying a slingbox and get slingplayer app. OSN is expensive for what little it offers. I have it but it gets boring quickly. I enjoy DirecTV much more and don't need to use a VPN. If you have a tendency to use public WiFi, a VPN is highly recommended on your handheld.

crazycatlady,
We use a Samsung Smart TV. No need for any other special equipment.
Same for Hulu and Amazon Prime Video
