For the guys in the UK, is it better to apply directly on Aramco's website or go through an recruitment agency for a particular role?

Because dealing directly with Aramco assures you are an Aramco employee versus possibly a contract employee. When you negotiate anything in your contract you do not have to go through a middleman.
The hiring process requires a lot of patience no matter how you go through it.

I think it's best if you can get in touch with an Aramco recruiter.

Hi all, I been applying to ARAMCO for years and I never had any luck with any direct application. I apply and it get lost as I never applied. I want to give a try using recruiter now. Can anyone please tell me the names of potential Recruiting Companies or Agents of Aramco for US and Canada for Engineering jobs? Regards.

I did applied directly and i was interviewed directly by ARAMCO people from Saudi and not from Houston. During interview, I was told that in order to bring me on board sooner they will process my recruitment through contractor as hiring as employee may take extended time. I have not see the offer yet, just the paperwork required by them to process recruitment. What are important points to be considered for this situation related to living, medical, kids education etc. Please advise...

You will want to know that you have family status and can bring your family and can they come with you or have to join you later. Possibly after a probationary period, that occurs even with a direct hire.
Where you will reside: on an Aramco compound or outside on a local compound. Housing allowance if located off Aramco.
If you are living inside Aramco you will have free healthcare and prescription drugs. So if you are not on Aramco you will want to know how and where your medical will be taken care of. And is it by reimbursement. Aramco does not have free dental, you pay for it, so dental would not be an issue. Quite a few Aramcons use dentists in the local community.
Kid's education if inside Aramco would be Aramco schools. Outside there are private schools, you would want to know if they help pay the tuition and how much they pay towards it if they do pay. The ISG (International Schools Group) schools are good schools. You can google them.
Best of luck!
