I received my offer and it indicated that I would be in a 1BR "unfurnished" unit. I am excited to be in RT "by the sea" but I am just wondering what "unfurnished" actually meant and what I can expect when I arrive. I believe I read elsewhere that Aramco furnishes units (at a cost) but I was not sure if this applied to just DH or all compounds. Maybe this will be covered by my relocation person? Any advise would be appreciated.

Aramco usually furnishes your house for the 3 months it takes to get a shipment here and after that you would pay rent for any furnishings you decide to keep using. That's all Aramco compounds.
Clarify with your Aramco contact that you would have furniture on arrival. It may mean they are renting the furniture from day one now. Policies change all the time.

Thanks for the information. I will make sure to ask. From the posts elsewhere regarding DH I thought it might all be standardized but just wanted to ask.
