o,
I know most of the good interviews are usually followed by request to submit pay slip My question is does any one know what is the purpose of this, are they asking to verify your current pay or employer.
Also I am a contractor and my hourly rate is extremely high, and the pay slip are under my corporation name. Having high hourly rate will have a bad impact on the offer and having a pay slip under my corporation name require any explaining to them?

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm also paid hourly at a good rate, however I don't think it would impact you badly. Aramco are well aware of how contracting, staff works. I have friends who were working as contractors in the UK and got paid hourly, however they have landed jobs in Saudi. At the end of the day, you know your financial situation and it has to be worthwhile. Money is one aspect but there will be other aspects too.

I think, do not know, you should send a written explanation in with your pay stub, being proactive instead of reactive.

I kinda agree, but is it just to verify your job or pay or BOTH?

gbradford, when did you send in your payslips? My staffing consultant just told me that she is waiting to receive offers for candidates who submitted the payslips back in Oct 2012
