Dear Friends,
I was supposed to join Aramco soon at Al-khobar site.
Accordingly I was planning my Child education at Alkhobar/Dammam Indian School CBSE board Standard 3.
Now I got revised intimation from Aramco to join at Ras Tanura site.
Is there any CBSE board at Ras Tanura? Is it possible to manage schooling at Al-khobar/Dammam staying at Ras Tanura or manage to work at Ras Tanura staying at Al-khobar/Dammam?
Please suggest me with your valuable suggestion.

suggest you google map the locations to get some orientation. Ras Tanura is an hr away from Khobar/Dammam. If your contract mentions anything with regards to your housing in Aramco Ras Tanura Camp, then yes, there is a very good american school on camp. If not in camp - then yes there are few schools in the neighboring town called Rahima or even Safwa. you know quite a lot of information is given on wikimapia if you get some time to browse it ! all the best with your move.

Hi Maujkar, What about a kid’s schooling in Ras Tanura?I am offered a job with RT compound.So trying to get some more information.One of the fellow mentioned in one of my posts his/her children are liking the school in RT.But my concern is my son will go to grade 8.I came to know that after grade 9, we will have to change the school. Before I make my final call whether to relocate internationally or not, wanted to understand a bit more.By the way, boarding school option is not gonna work for me.I am from Canada,and after 2 years if I need to send back my family in Canada,there will be a huge tax impact on my income from the moment they land in Canada.Not sure what to do…Any advice please? Would it be possible to change my residence location ato Dhahran after 2 years? |
