Hi, I am debating whether to bring my new Tassimo coffee machine. Does anyone know if the Tassimo (t-)disks are available in Dahran and if so, approximate prices? Thks.

Also, do you know if you can get K-cups (for the Keurig coffee machine) at shops in KSA? Thank you ~

Tamimi was checking into carrying them, but do not know if they have started to do so.
nespresso store in the Al Rashid Mall upstairs from gate 4.

Thank you, yes from online research, it seemed there was Nespresso there. Also seemed that that isn't compatible, but maybe I'm wrong, and maybe we'll just bring a bunch of k-cups with us. I'd also written to Starbucks, who told me, "I am sorry, k-Cups currently are only available in the U.S. and Canada." Not sure if the person was meaning K-Cups in general or only the Starbucks ones. Anyway, it seems you can also put normal coffee into the machine, so we should try to get that figured out at some point...

Definitely bring K cups with you. The nespresso cups are not compatible with I-cup machines, totally a different size.
We brought in 250 nespresso cups prior to the nespresso store opening and the same with coffee pods.

Stumbled across these posts while considering which device to bring with me and I am still a bit confused. Each of the manufacturers has a different coffee "pod" and they are not interchangeable, so it would be foolhardy to bring the wrong one! In North America, particularly in Canada where I am currently, Keurig (K-discs), Tassimo (T-discs), and Starbucks (V-discs) accommodate very different pods. I have recently noticed that some other appliance manufacturers are jumping into one camp or another; Cuisinart now offers machines that accept K-discs and a few others provide a small "adapter basket" into which you can put your own bulk coffee and which will also accept K-discs. It seems that Keurig is the market leader.
My question: Which coffee discs are available in Kingdom?

Others bring in their pods, cups etc each time they go home for whatever coffee machine they have.

You can buy reuseable cups for all of the major machines. I suggest you buy them and take them with you -- you just refill them with a couple spoons full of ground coffee and empty them each time. Better for the environment, too
