I had my Interview on Friday the 15th in Aramco Services Company in Houston. When I looked I think there were approximately 60-70 applicants. All applicants were supposed to show up by 7:30am and then around 7:45am we were called in an auditorium where we were introduced to Saudi Arabia and some information about Aramco office locations and facilities. There were many applicants for different types of jobs and we were called individually for our interviews. My interviewers were 2 Aramco staff who basically asked general questions about what I did in the past, where do I see my self in few years down the road... etc. No technical questions what soever. The interview lasted for almost 50 minutes and both interviewers were courteous and polite. After the interview I met with the recruiter who basically said that once he receives the interviewers feedback, that he either will proceed with a job offer or I will be informed that my application didn't make it to the job offer stage but he said usually they keep my resume for almost a year in case a more suitable position becomes available. I tried to get from him an ETA for when I should expect an answer but I said it is impossible to give such a time frame but in the past the longest it took was around 4 weeks so this time too the ETA won't be longer that 4 weeks. So now the waiting game begins.
Just a side note: I worked in Aramco before with the same department that I was interviewed for but looks like they had a significant re-org and most management level was changed. I mentioned few names of managers I worked for before but they said all those managers are now shifted to other departments.

Dan/Ozie, My experience was similar to Dan's. We had approximately 15 folks in the auditorium when I arrived for my interview at ASC. The HR recruiters came and got us when it was time for our respective interview. There were three folks that interviewed me, they were extremely polite. My interview lasted 45 minutes and the folks only asked general questions regarding my background and experience, nothing technical. They also asked which group I preferred to work in and about my future goals. It is hard to say how it went but I am hopeful . My recruiter told me they would reach out to me once a decision was made. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope it went well. I'll let you guys know once I hear back from my recruiter. Best of luck and lets keep this thread going to see how many folks actually made it through the process. Have a good one. Cheers!

Ok so my 2nd interview ( via telephone) was vastly different than the in person it lasted just under 3 hours and I was asked a wide range of technical questions from network to infosec to pentesting it was very very technical.
Also as a side note when doing research on my interviewers I found that two of them are members ( or at least they claim to be) of this forum.

Hi, I am interested to apply for jobs in Aramco in IT in sys adm roles. How I can be contacted from recruiter or to whom I need to apply, is that directly or is there any consultancy service available in texas who assist Aramco. I am in plano, texas and very much interested to apply in Aramco. My cousin works in Aramco and will there be any preference I will get if i will put reference of him on CV. Or within Aramco internal employee referral works? Please assist me on the blank side.
regards Shahid Khan

Everyone applies for jobs online at jobsataramco.com or at job fairs, which are also listed on this website.
Doesn't hurt for you to state your cousin works here, but they will be more interested in your qualifications.

Just to keep the thread alive I wanted to ask those who were interviewed during the week of feb. 11th - 16th whether they had any sort of communication with ASC. My interview was on the 15th but never had any communication from them whatsoever. I was told by the recruiter to expect something back within 4 weeks after the interview but I see in some other posts that some candidates were contacted to submit their pay stubs to prepare their job offers. So if everybody can share any communication that they might have had after their interview that will be appreciated.
Thanks
-Dan

Dan,
I hope you are doing well. I have not heard anything from ASC at this point after my initial interview. My recruiter stated that he would reach out to me but did not give a time frame. I'll let you know as soon as I hear anything from their end. Have a good one. Cheers

I hope both Dan/MZaffar can answer this. I have received a similar interview call next week. The applications is asking for supervisor/manager's names. Do they actually call your supervisors, jeopardizing your current position or it that for a later stage? I wouldn't want my supervisor or manager to know I am interviewing with Aramco, would I? How to deal with this? Thanks

o Funsu-wangroo,
In-fact that's a concern for me too. In the application form there is a check box whether they can call your reference or not, I checked this box and now I am a bit worried that they might actually call my manager and my application doesn't go through, this will put me in a not-so-good situation. I know for a fact they do call your references you put in your application form and I think (Not sure) they will call them during background investigation which comes AFTER you received and accept a conditional offer of employment. If this is how it works, then it's not too bad but I still might communicate my concern to Aramco recruiter if and when I receive an offer. So far I haven't heard anything back.
Good luck
-Dan

Wondering if anybody knows why Aramco requests pay stubs? Do they base their offer on your current salary? or is there other reasons for these pay stubs? Also if one refuses to submit such information, would that result in loosing the job opportunity? To be honest, I don't feel comfortable submitting my pay stubs as it shows a lot of information that I don't like to show (very detailed tax and taxable benefits contributions). Anybody else feels the same?
