Hi, I tried to post on an existing topic but was unable to as I have not yet been approved. How long does this process take?
Thanks!

What are you asking about? Verified? Your degrees? Medical? BI? visa? All the above.
Best answer: do a search on the forum for timeline, you will find many current postings on how long this individual process is.
It takes as long as it takes - a few weeks to over a year. Most feel it has been worth the wait.
Patience is the key for coming to work for Aramco and this patience required in the beginning helps you to have patience with the differences you will find when you begin work.

Thanks VPainter, I was actually talking about verification so I could post to this forum, which has now happened. I want to thank you all for all of the information and guidance; I have found very comforting during the process of applying to work for Saudi Aramco. If it wasn't for this forum I may have already given up due to the slow response time from ASC. I now know we are all in or have been in the same boat.

Hi all,
My family and I are very excited about the opportunity to work for Saudi Aramco . I received an offer to work for the project management department in DHA (also live in DHA), so I decided to post my timeline: Interviewed - Dec 11 Pay stubs - Dec 12 Rec offer - Jan 14 Accepted offer - Jan 21 Assigned relocation - Jan 29 medical - BI - Visa - Depart -
Reading this forum has helped me tremendously and I look forward to seeing you all in Saudi!

I fully agree with Vpainter on this. The best part of my journey here with Saudi Aramco is having learnt how to be patient.

We are currently in the background investigation phase and found it to be an anxiety-filled time. I would suggest to still do the other things you would otherwise do, go on a pre-planned vacation, sign up for you hobbies, dance classes, still go to the gym, attend weddings/birthday parties ..... Just keep the thought that the paperwork is being processed, background/medical being checked, relocation agent is coordinating all of these on the background. They will certainly let you know of the status or when they would need additional information.

After having gone through the experience, I agree with the suggestion to go on with your life and not to get caught up in the waiting game. My other advise, is not to just sit back and be patient, some files get more attention from HR and subsequently the folks who do the BI and the medical try to finish it more quickly, you wouldn’t have much say in prioritizing your application, will depend on your department probably, but your follow up at reasonable intervals can probably help, sometimes you discover when you call that there's a document you didn't send and that they didnt call as soon as they found out, this is understandable, there's a big work load. Finally .. help them so that they can help you, make it easy to track your work and education history, provide clear contact details, more than one phone number, more than one contact at the same organization if applicable, if your past manager is not answering phone calls or is in Hawaii while they are doing the BI, this surely will create delays, if your university registrar is slow to respond....etc.. this all create delay. Be patient, but stay alert and try to live your life normally while you wait

I'm also new to this forum and I'm curious how long it takes to become a verified user on this site? What's involved in the forum verification process? I'm curious because I've left a few posts and private messages under a different username over the course of a couple of years with no prevail.

Thank you Vpainter, Tremblent, Pinovcoolada and CanPeng for the advice. Luckily I do have a lot going on the next couple of months. Two of my sisters are getting married, and this should occupy a lot of our time. Meanwhile I will do my best to stay patient.
Good luck to everyone and hope to see you all soon!
