I was interviewed back in May 2012 at the Aramco office in Houston, for a Finance position, the team I interviewed with, five manager's, came all the way from Saudi, I felt I did well in the interview, within a couple of day's I heard from the recruiter that the team was impressed with me and they but in a "Hold" status and I need to get in touch in September, and I did, then I was told to follow up in Feb of 2013??? now what dose that mean??? one of the other candidates who I meet back in May told me that he was rejected and his background dose not match what they are looking for.

It means follow up with them in Feb 2013. Things run on a different timetable here than in the rest of the world.

Aramco works on its 'own' pace. to give you an example - a Canadian landed in my dept on 29th Dec 2012 - who was initially interviewed on 12 April 2011 ... .. offer negotiations, canadian visa issues etc all delayed him until Dec 2012 ! [perhaps this is the only case i have seen taking over 1.5yrs...]But our dept was following up 'very' closely as they needed his specific skill set !
So follow up.. if you are still interested in Aramco and don't get bogged down with the timeline... when the time comes everything moves fast..

By the way, I was asked to submit my pay stubs during my interview. now I have a question to ask, some candidates get job offer's after the first interview and some after the third, dose it depends on the Dept. you are applying for? I am applying for a finance position.

Yes, each dept. hires however they want and can interview as many times as they want.

If you are still interested in working at ARAMCO, then keep applying. Just because one group did not hire you, does not mean another group wouldn't hire you.
