The update is that the homes in Aramco are 110/120V and are presently, slowly having 220V plugs added sometimes to just the kitchen and other times throughout the house depending on the renovation being done at the time.
As people retire or leave, they have a tendency to sell their washer/dryers and refrigerators. These appliances also can be bought in the local market place - 110/120V and 220V. Limited selection of the 110/120V but they are available.
The houses come with one refrigerator approximately 18cuft.

The jury is still out on the conversion. The existing method is to run two phases of 110 using the neutral conductor. There are some safety concerns with that method using the British standard wall plug outlet. I understand that these "scabbed in" wiring methods have been disbanded. Until the local grid can drop one phase of 240 out of a transformer, you better expect to see 110 as the standard. Meanwhile there is a 127v and less prohibition on appliances imports that seems to be partially enforced. There is a little 110v stuff available locally. Very limited though.
Not much available in any of the variety of camp classifieds. Best to bring some with you if it is available.

We're in DH Hills. Our home is on a long waitlist for installation of a 220v plug in the kitchen. Was told the program that had been happening in months past was halted. Something about safety issues that needed to be addressed. Told me the program would be on hold until further notice. Offered to put us on a long list of residents requesting 220v plug installation. This was a few months ago. Not holding our breaths.
