I have been offered a role at Aramco Trading (AT). Is there anyone here working for AT?
I have no information on living in Dhahran and the cost of living there.
Would appreciate help in knowing what is the avee size of the apartment/house and how much rent can one expect to pay for a 2/3 bedroom house in dhehran.

Housing depends on your GC and number of children. If you wish to give me that information I will share housing examples with you.
I do know that a 3 BR with study townhouse rents for $495/month. No utilities, no maintenance costs. You pay for long distance phone calls and DSL and Satelite TV. Local phone service and dial up internet is free.

We are a couple, no kids. I do not know what my GC is. I will enquire with my recruiter . What is the significance of GC in terms of the kind of accommodation and related benefits offered.
Secondly, my offer letter states my Family Status as Single, eventhough I am married. Should I be worried about this ?

GC and number of children are just the way Aramco does housing assignments.
If you are planning for your wife to come with you, then your offer must state family status. If your wife is planning to come more than 3 months later, then you will come on Bachelor status and you can change to family status within 30 days of your wife coming.
Do clarify that you are married with your Aramco representative.

Could you please give some examples, if you can, about accommodation to the different GC levels.
It is likely that if we decide to move from London to KSA, my wife would join me 3-4 months later. The company is aware that I am married, so I am not clear on why they would state my status as single.
