o, all. I've been lurking for a bit now, and have found fascinating tidbits and topics throughout. Many thanks to those of you who have contributed, across the entire range of experience.
Speaking of experience (ham-handed segue, but you get what you pay for), I'm curious to hear from others who have had a video interview, particularly if you've received an offer. I was recently invited to interview locally, via video conference. There were six people on the other end of the line, including my supervisor-to-be (hey, gotta be positive), his supervisor, someone from HR, and three others from the department. The interview only ran for an hour, however, which is a bit shorter than I have experienced for in-person interviews (although this was my first interview with SA). They did indicate that I'd be in Dhahran, who would be my supervisor, and other similar tidbits, which was a nice start... .
So. Is it common to have multiple people on the call? Is an hour-long interview par for the course (for an engineering position)? For those of you who have a position (or have received an offer), but did not apply through AramcoJobs or at a job fair, did your timeline differ significantly from those who did (e.g., contacted by ASC within about 2 weeks, offer within a couple of months, arrival in SA in 6 months to more than a year(!), etc.)?
Thanks, Cheesey Pouf

To close this loop, if only partially, long nights of reviewing the forum posts have found that number of interviewers vary from one to at least seven. So there's that.

Hi CP. I had 2 interviewer on my video conference. I too just had that one hour interview which seems a bit short for an assessment, but got an offer afterwards. I guess that's why they have probation (which is another thing to be nervous about)
The video conference was back in july when there was that whole aramco internet issues, so it may have got delayed, but the offer came in november.

Thanks, Ameng. I've received word that I should be receiving an offer by the end of next week. In that e-mail, ASC indicated the job and department, and asked for a few clarifications (name on passport, names and birthdates of dependents, etc.).
Did you receive a separate e-mail with your actual offer, or were the terms of the job only in the hard copy?
Just curious...
Thanks, CP

My interview was also in video conference and it was 5 interviewers. I've been asked to send paystubs and fill the application form which has information about dependents and work history,...
I've been told that they are finalizing the offer and I should recieve it early Feb :0

I had a phone interview last September with a followup interview via video conference a couple of months later (November). It took that long for the paperwork to make its way through as it was the Eid holidays.
The call from the recruiter came about 2 weeks later asking for pay stubs and passports and formal offer came about 3 weeks after that via phone (email). That was followed by the Fedex package a week after that.
The video conference was an hour for me as well but I knew that going in as the time slotted in at the video conference service provider was for an hour only. I had 4 different interviewers on the other end that rotated in and out of the call but I was ok with that.
