I interviewed last week with Aramco and they have started the process of making me an offer - saying I have been selected for the Engineer 1 position. I am on greencard in the USA (from India originally) and have an overall experience of 17 years with Masters and Bachelors in Chemical Engineering. Our daughter (5 year old) was born in the US and is an American citizen. Me and my wife together make around 220k a year.
I need advise from the gurus on this board. And thanks in advance
Q1> For the position to be attractive, I am looking to double my family income. Is that even possible ? Whats a reasonable salary I can expect ?
Q2> I have heard contradictory things about losing your greencard. Any advice ?
Q3> Are there folks who have their wife/kids live in the US ? How does that work out ?

Coming from the U.S. the salary is usually about the same as you make there, depending on the position applied for. Your wife's salary will not be considered as your salary. The extra income comes with the benefits, tax break and annual raises.
Search for greencard on the forum, there's quite a bit written about it. Another way to search the forum is on Google you can limit your google search to specfically this site. For example, if you'd like to reasearch "greencard", type "site:forum.aramcoexpats.com greencard" into your google search engine. This will produce a list of all the forum entries where "greencard" was used.
You would come on Bachelor status which does give you more time off for going to see your family. Most families miss each other, it depends on what your family is used to and whether or not all are comfortable being apart.
