o, I just passed an interview done with Aramco in the Training department. I recieved the email saying my interview was positive and asking for a paystub. My brother in law and family work and live in Aramco and informed me that women are not allowed to bring their families and it seems this is true. I have the following questions and would appreciate any help with this.
1. Does Aramco ever make exceptions to this rule and can you negotiate on this? 2. When should I bring up this issue about me wanting to go only on the condition that my husband and kids can also come and fully paid for? 3. What would be the next steps in the process? I was told during the interview that I would be considered for other positions but not the one I initially applied for and interviewed for since I did not meet all the technical requirements?
Thank you all for your help and hope to get some helpful info here.

Vanilla, women are not given family status. Has there been exceptions? No. Could you negotiate? Yes. When you get your offer you can send back a counter offer requiring family status. Exceptions are given, so far none in this area. But you never know, you could be the first if they really want you.

o, I was not aware that Aramco does not give female family status, I always interested about working oversea with Aramco. Thanks to this forum I learn a lot way before I apply. I now found three jobs that posted on Aramco website that match with my industry expertise, however, I have family and kids.
I'm currently working on the SADARA JV project for Aramco, any possibility that being a women with family would be an issue to move to work and live in Saudi.
I do appriciate all of the feedback. Thanks

If you come to work for Aramco, women are not given family status. If you work for another company, then it is up to them, but not likely.
