Hi Everyone,
This is the 1st post for me and I have read several from the FAQs section and I may have missed it so if so someone point me in the right direction.
I am heading to orientation on 11/5 and to Dhahran on 12/30, my husband is staying behind and will be traveling to see me after a couple months. From reading it seems that people on the compounds become pretty close knit; I am excited for this opportunity but I wonder if there are other single-married women I can connect with, so if you are out there please respond and let me know how the adjustment has been for you.
Also, how do I get in touch with someone from the forum to show me around and help me get acclimated?
Lastly, I would like to get a pet when I arrive, my relocation advisor is putting me in pet friendly housing because originally I thought I might bring my dog but I have decided against it. Anyone else acquire a pet while in KSA? Any info you can give me would be great! Thanks
