o All,
My Fiance is in the final stages of the hiring process with Aramco. We will be married by the time she heads over to Dammam. She is a high GC level and we were wondering of there is anybody that has had experience with how to get me over to live with her or any advice would be appreciated. There has been a position posted for me but no interview or info yet. If we don't get married is it better? If we are not married can she hire me as a cook or driver since I am that anyways!!!!!!!!!!! We are American ( If that makes a Difference)
Thank You,

Women are not given family status, no matter the nationality. She could check into hiring you as her driver, not sure that would work though. You could possibly both live in Bahrain and she commute to work, would need a driver able to cross border.
Married she could have you visit.

Not positively sure, but wouldn't the husband need a visa to cross the causeway to come visit? When we had our daughter here for a visit (she's in college, was never living here) she had to get a multiple entry/exit visa and it cost 50SR for her to cross the causeway.
So, my point is, would the husband be able to get the visa even though the wife wouldn't have the benefits?? :?:

Yes, a visitor's visa would have to be obtained and fees for crossing the causeway paid.

well this whole issue may be resolved we may both be hired by Aramco. If not whats the longest he can stay with me on the compound. He may have a job else where in Saudi Arabia.
