I am a new hire, just moved from the UK a month ago. I did not learn how to drive a car in the past and never was in desperate need to drive a car as I am today (especially as my family will accompany me soon). Could anyone advise me about the best and most straightforward to attend driving lessons in Dhahran

Contact HR, they will be able to help you. If all else fails get a coworker to teach you in the parking lot by the soccer fields off Pennisula Road. Then take the driving test for a Saudi license at the driving school in Khobar.
You could also call recreation, there are driving instructors who come to camp at least in the summer for the Returning Students. Don't know if they have any in kingdom right now.
Hopefully someone else will have a better solution for you.
