Hi all

It looks like things are starting to progress with our BI/Medical cleared. Now we are left with only visa issues and then IA head to Saudi.

We have decided to move our household stuff with us to Saudi. The timeline would be such that my family would arrive about 2 months after me.

Question: Will I have a choice to pick a date for the movers? Since my family will need things at home, I'd prefer to have my stuff shipped just before my family leaves and not with me.

Yes, you can have the packers come right before your family comes. In our case, one ebox went with employee, one ebox and shipment went with the family.

You do have to work around when the mover can come, they have a schedule they are working with as well. But you should be able to get close to the time you want.

Hopefully, you'll help with the inventory list before you go, your family will appreciate you doing it together.

Current avee of the time that it takes from packing your old house to unpacking at your new house is 4 months. That timeline has come from very reliable recent sources. I know several new hires. Not sure what has happened at the port to slow down the process but it was not Ramadan.
