Hi all. I have just joined today as I have an offer from SA. The job is working through Jatco an agent for SA as an instrument trainer. I am happy about coming over but my wife is unsure. We have a 2 year old boy and a 2 month old girl. I have only been given single status although I did tell them I would be bringing my family out after Christmas. Would we be eligible to get a family house within the camp being that I would be employed through an agent? Are there houses available all the time. The main issue I need to clear up with my wife is that the family will be coming over after Christmas to somewhere suitable for her and 2 small children.
I'm sure there'll be more questions to come.

If hired directly by aramco then yes...if hired by a contractor then no.....find out from the contractor about housing.....outside Najmah is not a good place to live imo.....other compounds in khobar are ok though but commute time can be tricky and drivers here are dangerous.
