Do you mind sharing your experience in UDH, as there is very little information on this forum regarding this compound. How is the compound , activities etc?? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Just as an FYI, I updated my timeline in the other forum string, but did want to share here that despite the computer issues, things are moving forward for my application process. I was called by my relo advisor that my submitted visa (submitted to the embassy on Aug 27th) was received back and green light. She also said my housing is in order. She asked for me to send her my preferred flight choice (time/airline/etc.) and said a good flight date would be the week of the 26th (September). Note, she originally said the 21st, but I asked for additional time. I also recieved a call from the payroll dept. on a savings election question they had.
The bottom line is, things seem to be moving forward. FYI all!!!

Congrat.What nationality you belongs to. I'm wondering that you got visa stamped within a week time. Wow.. For Canadian the minimum waiting time is 30 days. My friend is waiting for his for the past 8 weeks. Canadian wait time is increased by three to four weeks more in the past couple of weeks. We have to wait as our passports are submitted on Aug 27 as well.

Thanks! I'm a US citizen going for a finance gig. Not sure on why so fast. I am going single so that may help expedite. I just talked with my relo advisor again today and confirmed flight arrangements.

I'll be reseiding in RT. Yes I am from Calgary and there is some discussion on this topic earlier and you may use search option to find details. I've already listed my house for sale and you may consider the following to be a Non-Resident i.e.closing stocks, shares, all bank accounts except for one, Health care, any Canadian memebsrhips P.Eng, AMA etc., you may keep DL but do not renew.CRA NR73 form provides the creteria to disclose non residence status and based on questions on form NR73, CRA will dteremine if you are elgibale for NR status. Hope this info will help!
