My relocation adviser said that if I choose to get cash in lieu, my amount would be around $4,500. We are family of three and will be moving from a 2 bed room townhouse.
Does that amount sound right to anyone?

Hey ya..
It does...it is 50% of your shipping allowance... mine is slightly more because we are a family of 5. 455$ is about 17000 SAR, I guess you can find decent furniture with that amount.

I think that it also depends on where you are relcating from. Mine was also a bit more than that, even as a single person....but probably because I was coming from a further distance.

Sounds low, especially from the US. Perhaps you were quoted the rate for a single adult. For a family of 3 it should range from 8k - 10k.

sounds low to me too. you are better off sending a shipment if that is the case. a friend of mine was given 10 K for single, but that was a couple years ago.
